The concept
Measure up to 12 locations from a centralized sensor cabinet
We measure more than 12 important parameters
Working from a centralised water quality station provides us the possibility to measure parameters that could not be measured before. For example H2S, turbidity and total CO2.
A centralised sensor cabinet ensures easier sensor calibration, selection of only the best sensors, and a new possibility to integrate new sensors in the future.
Automatic measurements 24/7
Measurements are made on water samples that are drawn from up to 12 separate locations on a fish farm. The Lab Station measures automatically 24 /7. It visualizes an overview of complex water quality trends across the fish farm. Easy access online from any device
Now possible to Benchmark
Why benchmark? When you accurately compare water samples across a fish tank, biofilter or degasser you can real-time monitor:
- Alkalinity, pH or oxygen changes indicating biofilter malfunction
- Alkalinity or CO2 change over degasser
- Turbidity change caused by cleaning of a filter
- CO2 or oxygen spike across the fish tank
Value Added Data – Consultancy
The data generated and presented by the Lab Station provides an opportunity to make more qualified decisions, faster.
Moreover, consultants connected with the farm are able to get rapid insight into how the farm is working. For example the farm veterinarian is able to better understand fish health when the water quality of each fish tank is provided.
Rather than hanging probes in fish tanks we draw water from many locations on a fish farm to a single set of centralized sensors.
Measuring 12 locations in a system allows us to understand the water quality profile as a living organism.
