Blue Unit can measure up to 24 different locations around a fish farm with a single set of sensors, and can detect changes within the RAS farm that traditional sensors might miss. This system can identify gradients across water treatment machines and accurately benchmark different locations.
The Modular concept, “One cabinet – several options,” addresses clients’ needs for flexibility and shorter development times. By reusing basic structures like the cabinet, control system (PLC), and visualization and storage systems, we achieve this goal.
Clients can choose between manual or automatic water collection. We can connect from 1 to 24 pumps to the analyzer, collecting water samples continuously. The water is pushed through tubing to the centralized analyzer, with sample tubing cleaned between samples to prevent biofouling.
Additional sensors and sensor packages can be added later, eliminating the need to buy a new cabinet for future expansions—beneficial for both the wallet and the environment.
The Lab Station has been designed for clean water. It cannot be used for wastewater plants.
The Lab Station has 2 sets of sensors, slow and fast sensors. A slow sequence cycle takes 15 minutes, while a fast cycle takes 5 minutes. For every slow cycle there are 3 fast measurements completed.

A Lab Station can measure up to 24 locations. To deliver water to the Lab Station a pump station needs to be ordered for each location that needs to be measured. If more than 2 pump stations are to be applied, then each pump station also has to be delivered with a pump station manifold.
Installation materials are also needed. Once the final design is completed a separate offer for these can be made. Alternatively, the customer can purchase installation materials using their own suppliers based upon Blue Unit’s specifications.
The LS Compact has been designed for wastewater treatment plants. It can be also used for cleaner water applications such as fish farming.
An LS Compact can measure up to 6 locations. Water samples automatically enter to 2 parallel sets of sensors, slow and fast sensors. A slow sensor sequence takes 15 minutes, while a fast sequence takes 5 minutes. For every slow cycle there are 3 fast measurements completed.

To deliver water to the LS Compact, a Pump Station with Controller needs to be ordered for each location that is to be measured (max 6 locations). If more than 2 pump stations are ordered, then each pump station needs to also be delivered with a pump station manifold.

If more than 2 locations are to be measured, it is recommended that the LS Compact is delivered with the following parts to ensure automatic cleaning of all surfaces inside the machine.
